Collecting small paintings is a great way to start your art collection. It doesn't require a lot of money and you get a one of a kind original piece of art. Some people enjoy following an artist's career by purchasing some of their smaller works. In the future you may want to invest further by obtaining a larger painting and make your collection grow.

I have always been interested in drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. From my 1st doodle to impressionism and beyond, has been an interesting journey of self discovery over 30 years. I started painting in oil; moved to watercolor and then acrylics. I start my under painting in acrylics fairly loosely and thinly, until I achieve the effect I’m after. Then I add acrylic colors in impasto, leaving flickers of my first strokes to shine through and add a glow to my paintings. This combination works for me. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed painting them for you. Check out my web site at: www.grantsgallery.com
